my page on openers… hope i don’t infringe any copyrights… ok let’s get started…

  1. as the clock strikes 12, he slams the church doors open and his cries break the deadly silence but a loud bang does it better.
  2. the fallen leaves litter the garden while the dark clouds block out the moonlight and as the door swings open, out comes the eager children ready for their first official Halloween celebration.
  3. the boy lies down onto the soft green grass and looks to the clear blue sky and as he does so, he mutters to himself, ‘I’m so bored… is this all i can really do out here?’
  4. good booze and good friends are all a man needs to get over a breakup but for him, breakups are pure torture and to make matters worse, his only friends most probably hate him for what he has done to them and now he is all alone.
  5. the fan spins slowly and as it does, the creaking sound it’s weakening joints make disrupts the silence but what really does it is the sound of a beer
  6. bottle slamming on the table and as it does a grumbling voice goes, ‘this place is a ghost town, where are all the paying costumers?’
  7. as he looks ahead of him, he cannot help but smile at the sight of the happy families eating together, his mind so occupied by it that he fails to hear the sound of the bell behind him reminding him to get back to work.
  8. the doors to the shopping center open and into the complex he strides without a care in the world even as the many faces gawk at him or laugh and sneer at his ridiculous suit.
  9. silence fills the room as the lights begin to dim and as the curtains begin to draw open, she whispers a small prayer and steps into the spotlight ready to give it her all.
  10. the sight of his fallen comrades as well as that of the evil inquisitor laughing fill the knight up with so much rage that it takes control of his mind and body forcing him onto his feet as he firmly grabs his sword and throws himself at the inquisitor letting out a deafening roar as he does so.
  11. he gazes at her completely taken away by her beauty but quickly falls to the floor as she turns towards him so as to not let her see him for the idea of him even showing a bit of interest in her was unacceptable, at least that is how it is to her boyfriend.
  12. his eyes flutter, his consciousness is fading and in that single moment, the fighter suddenly sees an image of himself from before, back when he was weak and powerless and beside him was his best friend reaching out to him pulling him back up on his feet and before he even knows it, on his feet he really is, the sound of the bell bringing him back to the fight.
  13. as he sets foot onto the pier, he looks back on the last time he ever saw her and suddenly creates a picture of what she would look like now and just as he finishes creating his image of her, he hears a small voice call his name but before he could turn to the sound of the voice, a pair of warm hands wrap themselves around him forcing him to stand perfectly still.
